Due to a change in the calculation of visits to the host from April 2022, the numbers have dropped by more than half. For further clarification, bots are no longer counted in the same way. The statistics calculation method has been refined with a very precise margin of error, even close to zero. This explains the gap between the beginning of the year and the following months. It is difficult to accept but on the other hand, the results are more accurate.
On the other hand, the fact of having added the “security” option to the site at the end of April forced the bots to revisit and reindex all the pages in https, which are counted as visits. As a result, visits increased to more than 6000/day but for a duration of a few seconds.
Faced with the absurdity of the results, which ultimately are not correct, the numbers will no longer be indicated on the site. Only the work will be graded, and ultimately, that's what's most interesting!
